The Active Northumberland Kielder Marathon route followed an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe's largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland. Organisers claim it is 'Britain's Most Beautiful Marathon'. Ollie, Dawn and Martin Hunt made the trip, Ollie was first back in 04:13 and said "The most beautiful race scenery I've ever seen which helped take my mind off the fact it was the hilliest race I've ever done but still pulled out a marathon pb somehow. Mum and dad did great too especially after last week's marathon in the legs".
