The Sandstone Trail B Race is 17.0km (10.6 miles) with 288m of climb starting from Beeston following sections of the Sandstone Trail Path, finishing in Delamere Forest. The race had a timed-out road crossing at the A51, because of the heavy traffic on this road, competitors had to punch the electronic controls both before and after the road crossing. The time taken between the two controls was deducted from the overall time for the race. Zoe Pearse and Caet Cuthbert completed the challenging course in 01:41 and 02:15 respectively.
