The Northern Masters Cross Country Championships took place at Rossington Park, Doncaster in the centre of a horse training track the main loops of the course were out on the race track perimeters, the course was waterlogged but mostly good running. Tony Barbat finished in 8th place in 37:07 for the 5.7 mile course.
