The final race was over 12 miles of flat terrain along the North Wirral coast line. Starting in New Brighton the race started at the end of King's Parade and headed towards Hoylake before turning round to head for home. This 12 mile stretch meant the runners had covered 52 miles over the week. The sun was out and Ian Cannings and Adrienne Hall made the most of the good weather by returning first for the club and winning their age categories.
