The 35th annual Birchwood 10k road race took place over closed or partially-closed roads and paths in Birchwood and the village of Croft. The profile was mostly flat, accurately measured and chip timed and was organised by Spectrum Striders. Danny Lawson showed the men the way home finshing in 44:17 and Rachel Saunders the ladies in 49:55. The ladies finished ninth club team.
