14,000 runners braved awful weather conditions to complete the Manchester Half Marathon, they braved torrential rain throughout the morning as the remnants of Storm Callum passed across the north west. The half marathon started near Old Trafford football ground with the 13.1 mile route taking runners down Chester Road through Stretford and into Sale and back again, finishing on Talbot Road outside the cricket ground. Rachael graham was amongst them completing the course in 02:21.
