The second race in the Tour of Merseyside was a six mile challenge over track, beach, hill and dale. The race started on the caravan site roadway at the bottom of Station Road and finished on Thursaston Common overlooking the Dee Estuary. Jay Walker finished third in 37:22 and Becky Blacklock in was second lady in 47:36.
