The Southport Seaside 10K, started and finished in Princes Park, Southport and the route had views across Southport Beach to the Fylde. The remainder of the course was run around Marine Lake. The two lap course was on smooth tarmac through and around the famous Southport Pier and was described as flat and fast with only gentle undulation. Phil Bird and Hayley McNicholas took part finishing in 45:06 and 01:03 respectively.
