The one lap course of the Trafford 10k was described as perfect for fast times and was run on scenic country roads and started and finished in Partington near Manchester. The route headed towards Dunham Massey before returning back towards Partington. Tom Gillbanks and Ian Cannings made the trip, Tom finished in the quick time of 34:25 for 99th and Ian returned in 39:27.
