The fourth edition of the Chester 10k sponsored by Aldi started at Chester Racecourse and headed north-west out of the City and passed near the picturesque village of Mollington before returning to the heart of Chester City centre and finished with a spectacular backdrop of the Eastgate Clock on Eastgate Street. Two waves were used to accommodate the 4562 finishers. Eight runners from the club took part with first home being Mark Carruthers in 40:21.
