The Hawkshead Trail 16k Challenge started and finished at Hawkshead and followed circuits along footpaths and bridleways and took in panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding peaks of the Coniston Hills, the Langdales and most of the Lakeland fells. Phil Cuthbert took up the challenge and finished in 14th place in 01:36.
