Jay Walker was the fastest Wallasey AC runner at the London Marathon finishing in 2:43, Matt Gillbanks went sub three with 2:57 and the fastest lady for the club was Sallie Holt in 3:26, not far behind was Becky Blacklock setting a personal best of 3:29. Sallie said "Waited for this one since April 2020. Seemed like the city did too. Spectators were louder than ever and the course as entertaining as it always was, the mall a most welcome site. Loved it!"
