Steven Cosgrove set a personal best when he went under 40 minutes for the first time at the BTR Wirral 10k, good running from Steve meant he finished in 39:22 for seventh place. Jan McArd had a splendid run coming in as third lady and also won her age category with 45:32. Jan said "Ran out of my skin and nearly lost it at the end but pushed. Good to be racing on home turf with lots of WAC members kindly turning out."
