The North West Road Relays incorporated the county championships of Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire and were hosted at Edge Hill University, Ormskirk. The men's race consisted of four 5km legs. Wallasey AC men's team finished a brilliant third in 01:03:55, Jack Poland was off first and returned in 15:53, Ryan Greenwood was off next and returned in 16:23, Olly Chadwick ran the third leg in 16:26 and Joe Boden ran the anchor leg in 15:21. The team picked up silver medals for finishing second Merseyside team. The second team finished 14th in 01:08:34 - Rob Pearse (16:34), Christopher Jones (17:23), Raymond Clark (17:24) and Andrew Bromley (17:11) and the third team were 38th in 01:13:53 - Steve Brealey (17:22), Luke Hampshire (17:54), Joseph Fayle (19:45) and Michael Robson (18:51).
