The Guilden Sutton 10k began as a 6-miler in 1982 and was known as the Sutton Six, the race became a 10k in 1993. The start was on Belle Vue Lane with a 3.3k lap, followed by a longer lap which repeated the first 2k, headed out along lanes on an accurately-measured course around Guilden Sutton to finish at the village hall. Andy Bromley completed the course in 35:07.
