The Northern Road Relays took place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, Wallasey A.C. had three complete and one incomplete men's team compete in the race. The legs were 6.7k and the runners in each team went off as follows: A team - 1st leg Jack Poland - 21:35, 2nd leg Rob Pearse - 22:23, 3rd leg Olly Chadwick - 21:44, 4th leg Joe Boden - 20:88, 5th leg Andy Bromley - 26:11 and 6th leg Chirs Jones - 23:12. The A team finished in 02:15:33 for 36th place. B team - 1st leg Steve Brealey - 22:54, 2nd leg Ray Clark - 22:49, 3rd leg Ben McGee - 24:16, 4th leg Kevin Hall - 27:36, 5th leg Matt Gillbanks - 26:33 and 6th leg Steve Cosgrove - 26:46. The B team finished in 88th place in 02:30:54. C team - 1st leg Mike Dyson - 28:28, 2nd leg Steve Clarke - 29:44, 3rd leg Sean Sales - 31:39, 4th leg Mark Poustie - 28:41, 5th leg Dave McAlister - 30:40 and 6th leg Steve Norton - 30:34. The C team finished in 109th place in 02:59:46. D team - 1st leg Leon Summerfield - 28:28, 2nd leg Steve Cole - 30:29, 3rd leg Pete Barham - 32:15, 4th leg Martin Connell - 31:35.
