Rob Pearse set a personal best at the Telford 10k crossing the line in 33:25, great running in testing conditions. Andy Bromley wasn't far behind in 34:29 and Michelle Alty finished in 45:44 and said "Sealed my status as running nutter today! Thank you Colin Melia for your ongoing patience & support. Up at the crack of dawn to travel two hours in freezing fog to Telford for my first attempt at securing England Masters status for my 55-59 age group. Can't complain at a 6th finish with a season best 10k - in baltic conditions! Snow blizzard as a starter, then sleet and precarious stretches of ice, puddles & mud en route. Loved it & I will be back! Thank you to the amazing organisers for holding their nerve and going ahead in the worst weather of the year"
