Runners faced warm conditions at the Wilmslow 10k, Andy Bromley ran well to finish in 34:46 for 41st place. Tim Plested said "I'm not going to lie; that was brutal and ridiculously hot! When large numbers of runners leave the road to run at the sides to benefit from the shade of the hedgerow; you know it's a scorcher!"
