Andy Bromley led the Wallasey AC runners home at the Ellesmere Port RC 5K in Capenhurst. Andy crossed the line in 16:51 (33rd). Elaine Opara was our first lady in 21:24 (20th) and there was an age category win for Michelle Alty. Kirsty Greenwod set a personal best and said "I got my sub-23 5k!! Chip time 22:49. Capenhurst 5k last year was my first race wearing a Wallasey AC vest! One year later and nearly two minutes knocked off. Love the ethos of the club and love pushing myself."
