Dave McAlister and Lesley-Anne Cucksey entered the Dolgoch Challenge which was part of the Tywyn Race the Train. The train dopped the runners of in Dolgoch and they had to race the 5.5 miles back to Tywyn. Dave finished in 53:08 and Lesley-Anne bagged an age category win in 55:24.
