The Winter Wirral Ultra followed a 37 mile circular route starting and ending at Eastham Lodge Golf Club. The runners faced a tough start as they were met with heavy rain and winds. The weather did improve as the race developed and three runners from the club completed this challenging race. Paul Johnstone was 38th in just under six hours and not far behind was Chris Bowers in 44th. New member Hollie Gregory finished in just over 7 hours for 133rd place. Great running by all in tough conditions.
