The Abersoch 10k started in the village and finished along the golden sands of Abersoch's main beach, the race was described as "A real 'feel good' event for both those taking part and those supporting, with big crowds lining the streets in the village and the finish line on Abersoch beach." Loius Gorman finished in 38:30 for 16th and Paulena Kremling in 40:23 for third lady. Louis said after the race "Well that was as brutal as I remember, that last k on the beach is such a long run from home proper leccy legs! Not many races you get a separate time for your race and a hill within the race! Good fun though now time for a few beers on the beach."
