The Chester Ultra 50 spanned some of the very best & most beautiful natural trails in the Cheshire and included 849m of ascent and combined trails along the River Dee, North Cheshire Way & the Sandstone Trail took in the Old Dee Bridge, Chester Racecourse, Helsby Hill, Frodsham & Delamere Forest. Paul Johnstone completed a wet and muddy course in 10:19 for 72nd place.
