Peel is a fishing village on the west of the Isle of Man and the Peel Hill Race started and finished near the quayside at the House of Manannan. With the exception of the first and last half mile the three and a half mile course was on grass. There was one main climb on the route with a number of short sharp climbs as well. Patrick Cuthbert was first home for the club in 28:28.
