Over 7,000 runners completed the Essar Chester Half Marathon. Eleven Wallasey AC runners took part with Jack Poland first home in 25th in an excellent 01:15:33, our first lady was Kat Cowdray who set a personal best of 01:45:23. There was also a personal best for Gareth Hughes going under 2 hours for the first time. Jack and Tony Barbat secured England Athletics Masters qualification. Great running by all.
