The final seaside race of 2022 required a late course change as there was a house fire near the lighthouse. The start was moved to the promenade by the car park and the finish to near the clown roundabout. The course was remarkably accurate to the 5k distance despite the late change. The runners faced a headwind so most times were down. First male for the club was Mike Jones in 18:53 for tenth place, first lady was Jan McArd in 22:31 for sixth place and an age category win.
